My Fitness Journey: From Struggles to Strength
Fitness hasn’t always been a part of my life. Growing up, I was never particularly athletic, and after having five kids, I found myself struggling with my health and weight. A minor heart condition led me to take up running, but it wasn’t until I tried a Beachbody workout program nearly 20 years ago that everything changed. That experience sparked a passion for fitness that has shaped my life ever since.
For 16 years, I had the privilege of coaching and supporting others as a Team Beachbody coach, helping people find workouts that fit their lives and goals. Though Team Beachbody has since closed its doors, the programs that transformed my own health are still available—and I’m excited to share them here, along with my best fitness tips and recommendations.
In addition to Beachbody, I’ve also loved incorporating Les Mills workouts—especially Combat—and yoga into my routine. Balancing fitness with a busy life hasn’t always been easy, but I’ve learned how to make it a priority. My kids are all competitive swimmers, and their dedication has been a constant source of inspiration.
